My name is Flavia, and I work as an audiovisual linguist in the world of film and streaming localization.
Travel the Track is where I share my travels—often short, but always meaningful—following the passions that have shaped my life for years: music, motorsport and places with a story to tell.
I’ve never travelled just to tick places off a list.
I’ve always travelled because movement helps me think, reset and breathe a little easier.
New cities offer a neutral space. They don’t ask questions, they don’t have expectations, and they allow you to simply be present.
If you travel for the same reasons, to listen rather than collect, you’ll probably feel at home here.
My Way of Travelling
I often travel for only a few days.
Not because I lack time, but because I’m fascinated by first impressions—the feeling a city gives you before you truly know it.
When I arrive somewhere, I look for the water, if there is any. I study the skyline. I search for a high viewpoint, a moving train, a wide perspective.
I listen before I start looking for famous landmarks.
I don’t begin with a checklist.
I begin with whatever makes me stop and look.
That’s how I’ve learned to understand places: by observing before trying to explain them.
Why Travel the Track?
The name comes from the world of motorsport, but it means more than that.
A track is a circuit, a route, a line to follow—even when it isn’t straight.
In life, it’s often something we build as we go.
This blog is about travel, live music, motorsport and movement in all its forms: physical, emotional and personal.
You won’t find perfect itineraries or endless bucket lists.
You’ll find first impressions, travel notes and the details that stay with you long after the journey ends.

They’re not created to be “Instagram-worthy”.
They’re meant to capture a moment: a particular light, a dramatic sky, a view that made me stop.
I write in the same way.
